Join us for an evening event at the University of Warwick on 15th November. The night will feature two talks delivered by industry experts. They will share insights and knowledge, sparking thoughtful conversations and opportunities for learning.It offers a great opportunity to network, connecting with peers and professionals in the field. Light refreshments, including drinks and nibbles, will be provided.

18:30 – Welcome Address by:
- Dr Mohammad Rezania, Reader in Geotechnical Engineering, University of Warwick
- Dr Meghdad Bagheri, Academic Liaison of the BGA-ECG
18:45 – Presentation: “The Quaternary Geology of HS2 and Implications for Geotechnical Design” by Joe Mazgajczyk, Mott MacDonald
19:00 – Presentation “The use of distributed fibre optics within geogrids to monitor strains at small displacements over chalk beds prone to solution features on the HS2 project” by Dave Woods, Huesker Ltd.
19:15 – Networking Session
20:00 – Event Concludes
